Realistic flowers etc. (creative tatting)
After I brought colors and new motifs in my work, I met Mrs. Helma Siepmann at a lace congress in Eisenach. She teaches a new knot, she called "Creative Knot". This is a combination of the left half of the double stitch and the right half of the reverse stitch. With this it is much easier to make turns and the crafts get more realistic.
I do no have many ready made things in Creative Tatting yet. I gave them away by many occasions. My daughter likes to wear tatting on her pants, when the got a hole at he knees. Sometimes I think, she makes the holes on purpose to get flowers an ornaments which her friends don't have.
